Mesh Material & Weaving Process
Material
Polyester mono filament is the standard mesh for Bihong oval garment printers. It features low elongation, stable tension and good chemical resistance for plastisol, water-based, discharge and puff printing. Nylon mesh has higher elasticity but unstable tension, rarely used for mass multi-color registration. Stainless steel mesh delivers ultra-high precision but is costly and easy to crease, seldom applied to textile printing.
Weaving
Most screen mesh adopts plain weave: warp and weft threads interlace one over, one under.
Extrude polyester into uniform mono filament.
Warping: arrange warp yarns with equal tension onto warp beam.
Weave on precision looms to form continuous roll fabric.
Heat-setting to release internal stress and minimize elongation.
Degreasing & surface treatment to improve emulsion bonding.
Inspection, slitting and rolling for final delivery.
