Operating Principle
The automatic screen stretching machine is equipment used to tension mesh fabric onto aluminum screen frames for screen printing.

It adopts servo motor + pneumatic/hydraulic stretching structure. The mesh is clamped evenly by multiple groups of clamping jaws around four sides. The system sets tension parameters (N/cm) via the control panel. Servo drives each clamp to pull the mesh synchronously in X and Y directions until reaching the preset tension value. The machine maintains constant tension while adhesive is applied to bond the mesh firmly to the aluminum frame. After glue curing, excess mesh edges are cut off to complete the screen frame making.

The core is synchronized four-way constant tension stretching, which ensures uniform tension across the whole mesh surface. It avoids uneven tension caused by manual separate pulling.

1.  Prepare aluminum screen frame and screen mesh (polyester / stainless steel mesh).

2.  Fix the aluminum frame on the worktable of stretching machine.

3.  Lay the mesh flat, clamp four edges of mesh by machine clamps.

4.  Set target tension value on the touch screen according to mesh specification.

5.  Start automatic stretching: clamps pull mesh synchronously in X/Y directions until reaching preset tension and hold.

6.  Apply screen frame adhesive on contact area between mesh and frame.

7.  Keep tension unchanged until adhesive fully cures.

8.  Cut off redundant mesh edges around frame.

9.  Unload finished stretched screen frame, ready for coating photosensitive emulsion and CTS laser plate-making.
