Bihong Aluminum Screen Frame for Oval Screen Printing Machine, High Bending Resistance & Deformation Resistant

Bihong aluminum screen frames are specially designed for oval screen printing production lines. Made of high-strength 6063-T5 aluminum alloy profile with integrated argon arc welding, they feature Standard Screen Frame excellent bending resistance.

 

Equipped with snap-fit design for fast assembly & disassembly, fully compatible with all Bihong oval printers.

 

It maintains stable mesh tension during long-run mass production, ensuring registration accuracy and sharp printing quality for fabric & apparel printing.

1. Screen frame for screen printing press High-strength aluminum alloy profile with outstanding bending resistance. Resists warping and sagging under high mesh tension during continuous production, keeping consistent printing results.

 

2. Full argon arc welding at corners, reinforced structure. Smooth polished welds, ink leakage prevention, resistant to solvent and repeated cleaning for Screen printing frame longer service life.

Screen Making & Inspection (Corresponding Screens)

• Film separation: Separate film for reducing agent layer and coloring layer, crosshair registration marks; reserve 0.2–0.3mm registration compensation on pattern edge to avoid misalignment.
• Screen parameters: 100–120T polyester mesh, thick stencil emulsion, screen tension 22–26 N/cm.
• Screen self-inspection: No pinholes, clogging or emulsion peeling; uniform tension; clear registration marks.
• Screen mounting on oval machine: Install screens in sequence, lock frames and set screen gap. Screen gap: 2–4mm (medium ink deposit; too low gap causes smearing).

Squeegee setting:

Hardness: 60–65 Shore A

Angle: 70–75°

Pressure: Medium pressure (as requested), uniform pressure to avoid paste accumulation / missing print

Printing speed: 0.4–0.6 m/s, medium speed

Paste Mixing Introduction

Reducing agent has limited activity. Mix on demand; use within 4–8 hours after mixing. Overnight paste is forbidden.

Clean mixing bucket completely; no residual ordinary plastisol / ink (impurities deactivate reducing agent).

Pour discharge base reducing agent paste, stir at low speed.

Slowly add special dischargeable pigment, stir continuously for 5–10 min for full dispersion.

Add small amount of thickener to adjust viscosity: 25,000–35,000 cps (medium viscosity for medium ink deposit, prevent bleeding).

Add tiny amount of defoamer to eliminate bubbles; do not dilute with large volume of water, which weakens discharge power.

Filter paste with 120-mesh sieve to remove particles; take sample and mark formula & mixing time.

Safety: Mixing area well ventilated, wear gloves. Do not store paste in metal containers for long time.

Oval Machine Printing Operation Introduction (Core Printing Section)

• Pre-production Equipment Setup

Check oval machine track level and station positioning. Attach high-temperature adhesive cloth on pallets, position T-shirt cut pieces / finished garments, keep fabric tight and wrinkle-free.

Pre-dry station: Infrared pre-drying at 60–80°C; only surface dry, do NOT fully cure! Purpose of pre-drying: non-tacky surface to prevent sticking on next screen. Over-high pre-dry temperature will deactivate reducing agent in advance and cause discharge failure.

Preheat tunnel oven and confirm stable temperature with thermometer.

Station 1: Print [Reducing Agent Discharge Base Paste]

Single print stroke with medium ink deposit; for stronger discharge, re-stroke on same screen (medium + medium)

Inspection: Uniform ink layer, no missing print or paste accumulation

Station 2: Infrared pre-dry 60–80°C, surface dry (non-tacky to touch)

Station 3: Print [Discharge Color Paste] (coloring layer, medium ink deposit)

Register alignment, medium pressure & medium speed printing; medium ink thickness without paste accumulation.

Simplified one-pot version: Only one printing station for one-pot discharge paste, pre-dry then feed to tunnel oven.
 

Registration tolerance: Crosshair mark deviation ≤0.2mm

Ink layer: Uniform, no bubbles, pinholes or flying paste

Take one sample every hour for trial curing in tunnel oven to preview discharge effect and detect paste activity decay in advance.

Note: Paste activity decreases over time. Add fresh reducing agent paste and re-stir every 2 hours.
