Structure And Design Of Screen Printing Plate Exposure Units

Screen exposure units primarily consist of core components such as the frame, exposure glass, vacuum system, exposure light source system, and control system.

The frame and housing are typically constructed from stainless steel or powder-coated steel. The exposure glass serves as the platform for the screen and the film positive.

The vacuum system, comprising a vacuum pump and a highly elastic rubber blanket, ensures tight contact between the screen and the film. The core of the exposure light source system is an ultraviolet (UV) lamp equipped with an aluminum alloy reflector; some models feature an automatic shutter mechanism for the light source. The control system generally utilizes a microcomputer-based panel with an LED display, allowing for the setting and automatic execution of vacuum and exposure times, while supporting both manual and automatic operation modes.

The equipment employs an ultra-flat vacuum plate to ensure uniform and stable vacuum suction. The exterior typically features a powder-coated finish (such as light sand-beige), the internal reflector is made of aluminum alloy, and critical sealing components utilize highly elastic rubber blankets. The unit includes a timing function and a control interface with dedicated function keys; some models integrate LED displays and computer-based control capabilities.

In addition to basic exposure functions, certain models integrate multiple plate-making processes-such as pre-exposure, washout, drying, and post-exposure-into a single, unified system.
