Pigment Printing Process Overview
Pigment printing (often referred to as Pigment Print) is a screen-printing process in which a synthetic resin pigment binder (paste) is mixed with color concentrate and transferred onto the fabric surface through a screen mesh, then dried and cured to form a covering printed pattern. The pigment paste forms a film on the fabric surface with strong opacity, fully covering dark substrates while delivering vivid, saturated colors. It is the most widely used printing method for T-shirts, polo shirts and hoodies.
This document is prepared for production workshops using oval / elliptical screen printing machines.
